Hardwood Ski and Bike needed a fully customized website design and development to promote their “Friends of Hardwood” donation campaign. The objective of the website is to help raise funds for the building of a new chalet to replace their old one which burned down on Christmas Day in 2017. Gooder Marketing designed a fully operational website for them as quickly as possible to help them get their donation campaign kicked into high gear. The new chalet will host large events, meals and presentations, as well as have meeting and recreational rooms.

The completely customized design allows for donors and visitors to navigate the website with ease when gathering information about the campaign. Hardwood Ski and Bike has a much storied history as an outdoor biking trail and has even nurtured several Olympians, as well as played host to the Pan American Games for biking. All of this information can be accessed quickly through the web design.
Web Development for Donation Campaign:
The Friends of Hardwood campaign revolves around several different biking and trip packages which can be purchased on the website. This required that there be an online payment and transaction method set up in addition to the content and images which needed to be posted. By using WordPress for the web development, Gooder Marketing was able to use the plugin WP Donate as one source of financial transactions. They also integrated Stripe to handle payment processing as well. By making the process as efficient as possible, Hardwood will be able to hit their goal much faster.
